TACV, otherwise known as Cabo Verde Airlines, operates regular internal flights between the islands and other countries. There are plenty of taxis operating at reasonable rates in the main islands as well as buses, but these run mostly in the islands of Santiago, São Vicente and Sal. Car rental services are provided by several companies and are available in the main urban centers.
As the property market grows, the infrastructure is growing, with large scale investment from the government into turning the Cape Verde Islands into a large scale tourist hot spot, Cape Verde is set to become a great holiday destination.
